Vetinary bills are enormous and costs of emergency treatment, operations, testing, neutering, vaccinating and identichipping rise staggeringly each year.
In order to meet these costs, St Francis Animal Rescue has a shop on Stanhope Road in South Shields to help raise much-needed cash to support its work. The shop is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time and work tirelessly to help animals in distress.
Members of the public generously donate clothing. linen, shoes, books and bric-a-brac to stock the shop. Without these public donations, we couldn't help these animals out.
